Our passion to have an increased participation in the automotive industry has seen us acquire the agency rights for Swaraj Mazda Commercial Vehicle & Tractor, Yuejin Commercial Vehicles and Suzuki Motorcycles.
Winning the rights for distributorship of “Goodyear” brand of tires in Ghana came next. Distribution facilities have been established and the brand has been made available all over Ghana.
Over the years “Goodyear” has turned out to be a brand leader in Ghana. Rana Motors currently imports the whole range of Goodyear tires ranging from Car tires to the biggest earth-moving tires.
In 1998 we were crowned with the Best Distributor award for having achieved the highest turn-over for Goodyear tires in the West African region, since then we have more than doubled our turn-over.
Modern Service centers equipped with state-of-art machineries have been set up to provide quality service to the consumers. Latest tire management techniques are being used to give value added benefits to the customers.
To cater to various segments of the market we do also distribute “Vikrant” (India), Chengshan, Aeolus, & Advance (China) & Watts industrial, Falken low profile passenger and truck tires from japan brand of tires. This has made us to be a leading force amongst the tire distributors in Ghana.
To upgrade standards of retailing in Ghana, we have initiated a franchise concept called the “Rana Radials” under which there would be a series of concept shops all over the country, which would retail products distributed by Rana Motors. Following are the locations of Rana Radials in Accra.
Rocket batteries have turned out to be the Most Preferred and largest selling Battery in Ghana. We are well stocked with the whole range of automotive batteries. We do also promote Voltex (Korea) & Challenger (Malaysia) brand of batteries.
Tip-Top tire repair products from Germany, has been the latest brand in our product portfolio. Apart from distributing the products, we have invested in tire repair machinery from Tip-Top, which can repair tires up to the 51” tires.
Belshina is a Belorussia state owned tire manufacturing company; they produce nylon & radial OTR tires. Now in joint venture with us to cater north and West African countries.

Manufacturing “Leyland / Leylac” brand of paints & allied products is our main stay in the manufacturing sector. The paints have been of high quality and the brand is highly preferred amongst consumers. Currently we are the market leaders in this segment. We are the largest manufacturing concern in the domain of decorative paints. The plant has a capacity to manufacture 12 million liters annually. We also produce specialized paints such as roofing, road-marking &, marine paints.
High land springs manufactures Aqua-Fill brand of mineral water, which is a brand leader in the bottled mineral water business. The plant has a capacity to produce 20 million liters annually.
